Jess Harris

Jess has spent 17 years carrying out qualitative research – chatting to people about how things work and how they might work better – at the Health and Social Care Workforce Research Unit at King’s College London.

In the last four years she’s been focussing on studies which improve support for people experiencing homelessness, where multiple factors, including substance use, leave individuals excluded from society and from the services that should support them. She runs an event series on different aspects of homelessness health and social care research and innovative practice, which brings together people with lived experience, researchers, policy makers and practitioners.

The founders of TPRP have supported her research over the years, and she’s thrilled to now support their work as they bring their considerable practice expertise to improving models of support, developing the evidence base, and making a real difference to individual’s lives.
