Gemma is a CIMA qualified accountant and single mum of one from South London. She has many years of finance experience in media and film. Gemma is currently the Head of Finance at the Soho Theatre in London’s West End.

Alongside her full time role and being a mum, she is also the treasurer of a small theatre company and a trusted advisor and bookkeeper to the owner of another London comedy venue.

 Gemma specialises in identifying problems that distract creatives and founders from achieving their objectives. By removing these problems she helps people to free up time and resources, allowing those around her to focus their energy where they can have the greatest impact. Gemma has an authentic interest in people and their stories, and seeks to get the best out of the people and projects that she is involved with. Over the years her unique blend of financial understanding, unrelenting energy and capacity to bring out the best in people and the organisations that she represents has meant that she is in great demand.

Gemma is delighted to be involved with The People’s Recovery Project, bringing her wealth of experience to support a new organisational journey which has at its core a focus on people and community: two things that are close to Gemma's heart.
