Frank and Nathan knew each other nearly 20 years ago, when Nathan was working in an outreach team and Frank was experiencing homelessness and addiction.

10 years ago, they worked together when Frank was newly sober in a small community that looked to focus on recovery and loved experience.

Today, now married and ten years into recovery, Frank continues to work hard in many capacities whilst building a settled life in London. He reflects on his decades on the streets, in hostels and in the midst of addiction and concludes that there is much that should never have happened, there were opportunities for him to have recovered sooner and wants to better opportunities for others that might be in similar situations today.

Today, to this end, Frank makes time to work with the Recovery Community at The People’s Recovery Project.
